The places that host this year's 21 stages of the Giro began to illuminate their streets, squares and landmarks in pink in January. Soča Valley also joined this symbolic gesture when on 25 February, the municipal building in Kobarid turned pink. Every month, another building or landmark from the municipalities of Tolmin, Bovec and Kanal will join, as well.
