Andrej Trošt - photography exhibition and screening of the film 'NašTriglav'

You are invited to an evening dedicated to hiking, from the first beginnings in the film "Naš Triglav" to modern visits to the mountains in Andrej Trošt's independent photography exhibition.
Andrej Trošt: With skis, rope or on foot
Andrej Trošt's photo was chosen among the best 3 at the Triglav 240 competition. The solo exhibition shows his photographic creation connected to the mountains, a respectful visit to their fragile kingdom and the palpable admiration that he unobtrusively conveys to the viewer.
The exhibition will be on display until the end of September.
Documentary film 'Naš Triglav' (Our Triglav)
The movie was made for the celebration of 240th anniversary of first recorded ascend to Triglav. It uncovers rich history facts about environment, culture and people surrounding Slovenian national simbol. It talks about times, when entering the mountain world was not self-evident and about today, when it is. It reveals stories of the individuals and backgrounds that made the misterious mountain world accessible to all. It talks about love for maountains, hiking, mountaineering an alpinism. The movie was made in the co-prodiction of Sever&Sever and Tourism Bohinj as a tribute to all Slovenians who went down in history (and wil go in future) for honouring and taking care of the mountains.
Screening is free of charge. Movie has English subtitles.
